Economic freedom is central to human prosperity, health and education. As a member of the Economic Freedom Network, the Liberal Institute publishes the Fraser Institute’s annual Index of Economic Freedom, the world’s most prominent index.

This index, co-conceived by Nobel laureate Milton Friedman, is considered the most significant scientific reference among international indices of economic freedom. Each report also includes several studies related to economic freedom.
